Turin

Turin, capital of the Piedmont region, is a city in northern Italy known for its refined architecture and cuisine. To the northwest of the city rise the Alps. Turin's boulevards and grand squares, such as Piazza Castello and Piazza San Carlo, are lined with stately Baroque-style buildings and old-fashioned cafes. Nearby is the towering spire of the Mole Antonelliana, a 19th-century tower that houses the interactive Museo Nacional del Cine.
