Quebec

Quebec City is located on the St. Lawrence River in the largely French-speaking Canadian province of Quebec. It dates from 1608 and has a fortified colonial core, Old Quebec and the Place Royale, with stone buildings and narrow streets. In this area, the outstanding Château Frontenac hotel and the imposing Citadel of Quebec are located. The cobblestone streets of the Petit Champlain district are lined with trendy bistros and boutiques.
