Bologna

Bologna is the bustling historical capital of the Emilia-Romagna region in northern Italy. Its Piazza Maggiore is a sprawling square lined with arcaded colonnades, cafes, and medieval and Renaissance structures such as the Town Hall, the Fountain of Neptune, and the Basilica of San Petronio. Among the many medieval towers of the city, there are the two towers, the leaning Asinello and the Garisenda.
