Bulgaria

Bulgaria is a Balkan nation with diverse terrain surrounding the Black Sea coast, a mountainous interior, and rivers, including the Danube. It is a cultural melting pot with Greek, Slavic, Ottoman and Persian influences, and has a rich tradition of dance, music, costumes and crafts. At the foot of Mount Vitosha, which is shaped like a dome, is the capital city, Sofia, which dates back to the 5th century BC. c.
