Manila

Manila is the capital of the Philippines and is a densely populated coastal city on the island of Luzon, where Spanish colonial architecture mixes with modern skyscrapers. Intramuros was a walled city in colonial times and is the core of Old Manila. It houses the baroque church of San Agustín from the 16th century and Fort Santiago, a famous citadel and former military prison.
