Last Saturday, May 6 at 11:00 in the morning, the Círculo Ecuestre, together with the Círculo del Liceo, held a live viewing of the coronation of King Charles III and Queen Camila of England.
The club had the exceptional participation of Dr. Daniel Aznar y Martínez-Albacar, PhD in Modern History from the University of the Sorbonne in Paris and the University of Barcelona. Professor at the Faculty of History of the University of Barcelona, and Francesc Xavier Montesa i Manzano, president of the Societat d'Estudis Pere el Cerimoniós, who explained in detail the structure of the ceremony and the coronation royalties that were used.
In this way, the attending members were able to enjoy the viewing with the best possible explanation. As part of the event, which began with the presentation of Antonio Delgado, president of the Círculo Ecuestre, the parade of the King and his wife from Buckingham Palace to Westminster Abbey, where the celebration took place, was discussed. It was also analyzed by the experts.
Due to the theme of the meeting, the chef of the Círculo Ecuestre prepared a buffet in pure English style, with which the diners were culinary teleported to England.
