Climate change and the responsibility of countries and companies, in the spotlight

The experts in sustainability and energy transition gave an interesting presentation that covered important aspects such as climate change in a climate emergency situation, putting emphasis on the drought situation that Barcelona is experiencing and the floods and earthquakes that are being suffered in other parts of the world; the responsibility that countries have to agree and address the main problems; the role that companies must assume and the challenges and opportunities they face.

After going through all the points of the debate table, the professionals and the moderator emphasized the objective of sustainable growth that we have today to use today's resources without compromising the needs of future generations. In addition, they called for calculating the carbon footprint at an individual level, trying to reduce emissions and offset them, before the year 2030.

The colloquium Resilient and Sustainable Companies: Challenges and Opportunities received a great response from the attendees, who used the question time to express their concerns regarding sustainability for the future to the speakers.
