This Wednesday, November 23, the Círculo Ecuestre hosted an interesting conference on mental health. Dr. Diego Palao, a specialist in psychiatry and a researcher into depression and suicide prevention, was in charge of giving the presentation before the attentive gaze of the club's members.

After the presentation by Dr. Lluís Donoso Bach, President of the Fundación España Salud, the expert explained to the attendees the vital importance of mental health in today's society.

Palao, Executive Director of the Mental Health Service of the Parc Taulí Hospital Universitario, Professor of Psychiatry at the UAB Faculty of Medicine, Second Vice President of the Academy of Medical and Health Sciences of Catalonia and the Balearic Islands and member of the Advisory Council of Mental Health and Addictions of Catalonia and the Barcelona Salut Foundation, astonished the attendees with his knowledge and resolved the many doubts that arose at the end of the conference.

Dr. Palao's colloquium was a great experience of self-knowledge in which the members of the Círculo Ecuestre learned to value, even more, the importance of mental health on a daily basis.

After the talk, the attendees enjoyed a delicious and relaxed dinner in one of the club's rooms in which they shared the conclusions they drew from the medical presentation.
