This Wednesday we celebrated a tasting dinner at the Círculo Ecuestre together with Rekondo and Club Macarfi, in the Club's restaurant. The event was presented by Enrique Lacalle, President of the Círculo Ecuestre, along with Manuel Carreras, founder of the Macarfi guide, and Lourdes Rekondo, sommelier and CEO of the Rekondo restaurant, located in San Sebastián.




In total, 62 members and guests enjoyed a 9-course tasting menu specially prepared for the occasion, seeking the balance between tradition and product, by Rekondo's chef, Iñaki Arrieta, together with Club Macarfi and all his team. Those present were able to savor the essence of Rekondo, with a culinary proposal designed for the occasion, which included a representation of the best from the prestigious Basque restaurant's menu.




In addition, diners were able to experience one of Rekondo's main jewels, its extensive wine cellar, through a precise pairing that included top-level Spanish wines and cavas. Furthermore, in 2026 Rekondo has been honored by Star Wine List with the awards for Best Long List in Spain and Best Champagne List.




The evening was a gastronomic success and served as a meeting point for lovers of culinary excellence, reaffirming the Círculo Ecuestre's commitment to offering its members and guests the best experiences.
