The Círculo Ecuestre celebrated its usual Summer Party this July. The event marked the beginning of the summer season with the elegance and style that characterizes the club and was held with a special reason: the arrival of the Copa América Barcelona 2024 - 37th Louis Vuitton America's Cup.
The event, organized in collaboration with SISLEY, and with the main support of the club's technological partner, SIRT, and Bastian Beach, the party became a meeting point for members. It also had the outstanding assistance of members of four of the six crews that will participate in the sporting event: New Zealand, the United States, Switzerland and Spain.
At 8:00 p.m., the guests were received in the "hangars" in the hall on the first floor, where they enjoyed an exquisite aperitif and were given ballots for the raffle for the party's multiple prizes. The Baobab decoration and an impressive video-photocall, sponsored by SIRT, set the scene.
Once all the guests had arrived, the president of the Círculo Ecuestre, Enrique Lacalle, together with Dani Puig, president of the executive committee of Barcelona Capital Náutica, and Aurora Cata, vice president of the Copa América, welcomed the attendees from the stairs . Within the framework of their parliament, they revealed some of the details of the important sporting event that will be held imminently.
During his speech, Enrique Lacalle highlighted the celebration of the event this summer in Barcelona: “The celebration of the Copa América Barcelona 2024 will position our city at the center of international attention. This prestigious event will generate a significant knowledge and economic boost, in addition to promoting tourism, investments and creating jobs in our city. This reality means that the Círculo Ecuestre is committed to the event, betting on it and giving it maximum visibility in order to strengthen its success and highlight the entrepreneurial and welcoming spirit of Barcelona that the club defends in its values”. “Few cities have held two World Expositions, a World Cup, an Olympic Games and an America's Cup”, added the Barcelona businessman.
After the speeches, the "crew" went to the Gray and Gold rooms, as well as to the terrace, where they enjoyed a delicious dinner with hot and cold dishes designed by the chef of the Círculo Ecuestre, along with a table of Real Caviar, courtesy of Luxury Spain.
The outdoor terrace was the scene of a live performance by a jazz group, which managed to create a relaxed and sophisticated atmosphere. After the musical show, the president of the club gave the second speech and began the drawing for the prestigious prizes, which included stays at the Grand Hyatt Barcelona and the Hotel Peralada Wine Spa & Golf, Cottet sunglasses and exclusive beauty packs by SISLEY. Additionally, the SISLEY beauty booth offered an added touch of luxury to the event, and attendees received exclusive goodie bags.
The party moved to the second floor of the palace, which was transformed into a vibrant nightclub thanks to Bastian Beach. DJ Juanjo Cachitos livened up the night, while guests enjoyed drinks from G'Vine and Damm.
The "crew" disembarked at dawn, taking with them not only gifts from the sponsors, but also indelible memories of a magical night.
