The joint manifesto has asked the Generalitat de Catalunya for the Ryder Cup to be held at the Camiral Resort Golf & Wellness in 2031.
The actors of the economic and business fabric of Catalonia, among which is the Círculo Ecuestre, have claimed that the sports competition will generate more than 1,000 jobs during the year of preparation and the event, of which 350 will be permanent.

Also, businessmen have indicated that the Ryder Cup expects to attract more than 270,000 visitors and generate an economic impact of more than 1,300 million euros for a tournament that they estimate will be seen in more than 600 million homes around the world thanks to the live broadcast of more than 2,500 hours in 180 countries.
"We demand the support of the Generalitat of Catalonia so that it keeps its word and can close the candidacy to host one of the most important and followed sports competitions in the world, which faces a selection of players from Europe and the United States", reads the manifesto, to which our club has adhered.
