The Círculo Ecuestre hosted a new edition of the "Encuentros en clave registral" (Meetings in Registry Key), an initiative promoted by the Regional Deanery of the Registrars of Catalonia. Under the title "Housing in Catalonia: Challenges and Solutions", the dialogue forum brought together representatives of Catalan political parties that make up the Catalan Parliament over the past few months to reflect and debate on one of the most relevant issues on the public agenda: access to housing.

With the aim of offering a space for constructive dialogue, the Círculo Ecuestre hosted the entire series of conferences, moderated by the Dean of the Registrars of Catalonia, Vicente García-Hinojal.

Specifically, the inauguration of the Meetings in Registry Key took place on March 19th with the presence of Joan Garriga, spokesperson for VOX in the Catalan Parliament, and MP Mónica Lora. The political representatives reflected on the difficulties young people face in finding their first home and the rental crisis, as key issues in the current real estate market.

In the second session, held on April 2nd at the Barcelona club, the Dean of the Registrars of Catalonia welcomed Ester Capella, spokesperson for the Esquerra Republicana de Cataluña (ERC) in the Catalan parliament. Capella highlighted the party's initiatives regarding the rising housing prices in major Catalan urban centers and the decline in rental supply, among other relevant aspects.

On May 14, the Círculo Ecuestre hosted the third installment of the registration cycle with the invitation of the Socialist Party of Catalonia (PSC), represented by Eva Candela, a member of the Catalan Parliament and Secretary of Housing. During the discussion, the socialist representative proposed measures to alleviate the problem of tourist apartments, while also presenting key housing proposals spearheaded by the PSC.

On May 28, Catalunya en Comú was present, with Susanna Segovia, a member of the Comuns party in the Catalan Parliament, as the keynote speaker of the fourth session. During the event, the current residential system, rental regulations, and the political party's lines of action on urban planning were highlighted.

The forum organized by the Regional Deanery of Registrars of Catalonia continued with a discussion led by Àngels Esteller, a representative for the Popular Party (PP) in the Catalan parliament, on June 11. The importance of taxation and bonuses as incentives for home ownership among young people were the focus of discussion during the session.

Aliança Catalana, represented by the Secretary of Institutional Policy, Aurora Fornos, participated in a discussion focused on the opportunity to address the challenges facing housing access in a grassroots manner, as well as an analysis of the phenomenon of squatting in the city.

To close the series of lectures focused on the registry, on July 2, Glòria Freixa, MP and housing spokesperson for Junts per Catalunya, spoke at the meeting about housing proposals for Catalonia, highlighting the importance of promoting incentive measures to facilitate access.

In this way, the Círculo Ecuestre reaffirms its purpose as a meeting point for public thought and debate, hosting a series of lectures that has contributed to enriching a necessary conversation about the present and future of housing in Catalonia.

This initiative is part of the commitment of the Regional Deanery of Registrars of Catalonia to the projection and rigorous analysis of major issues affecting citizens.
