On July 4, the Círculo Ecuestre inaugurated the Cycles on Technology Applied to Business with the help of SIRT, a leading company in cybersecurity in public administration and private companies and sponsor of the club.

The first installment of the cycle was held in a breakfast-colloquium format under the title Cybersecurity for your Company | European regulations. The event featured the participation of David Garriga, CEO and founder of SIRT; Andrés Diego, partner of Business Security Solutions at PwC, and Tomás Roy, director of the Cybersecurity Agency of Catalonia.

 

 

After the presentation by Silvia Parés, head of the Legal and Tax Division of PwC in Barcelona and Member of the Governing Board of the Círculo Ecuestre, the speakers held a dialogue with Alejandro Carballo, public sector director of Vodafone, with whom they addressed the best cybersecurity practices and the European regulations that regulate this area, providing attendees with the necessary tools to safeguard their businesses.




During the debate, the speakers focused on the risk posed to corporations by the growth of cybercrime in recent years. Therefore, they emphasized the importance of business participation and involvement in cybersecurity.

The first breakfast - colloquium of the cycle was pleasantly received by the attendees, who did not hesitate to express their concerns to the experts, who resolved any questions within the framework of the event.
