Where is the socio-political situation in Spain headed? This is the question that served as the starting signal in the last gathering of the Círculo Ecuestre and the Tocqueville Club that took place last Tuesday, November 29.

The forum was led by the Spanish journalist and author Juan Fernández-Miranda, Deputy Director of the ABC newspaper.

After the welcome by Nacho Parellada, a member of the Ecuestre board, and the presentation by Albert Guivernau, economist and General Secretary of the Tocqueville Club, the speaker gave an interesting X-ray of the socio-political situation in Spain.

During the session, topics of the first order were addressed, such as the energy crisis, the invasion of Russia in Ukraine and the current situation that the European Union maintains abroad.

The renowned journalist offered a broad and detailed vision of the Spanish situation in the current framework. In addition, he analyzed in depth the behavior of the country based on the adverse contexts that have occurred in recent years.

The twenty members who attended the event had the opportunity to find out first-hand about the Spanish socio-political situation and to present intelligent reflections to the expert speaker.
