This past Friday, November 11, the New Initiatives Committee (CNI) of the Círculo Ecuestre, which is the board of directors of the large group of young people of the Club, celebrated its 25th anniversary. The commemoration made reference to the first act organized by the founding Committee of what today is the consolidated youth board of the institution.
The long-awaited celebration took place within the framework of a meal in the Espuela room of the club that brought together the founding members of the CNI, as well as all the members of the institution who at some point have been active members of the Committee and the current board of the CNI. Members under the age of 40 were also invited to the event and had the opportunity to soak up the spirit and ideas of the committee.
The celebration began with a welcome from the President of the Círculo Ecuestre, Antonio Delgado. The former member of one of the committee's boards highlighted the work of the CNI as a space for meeting, friendship and personal growth, as well as being one of the most important bodies of the club: "The CNI is the future of the Círculo Ecuestre, for That's why I want to thank the attendees and all those who have made it possible for me to continue".
After the words of the President, the attendees tasted a delicious menu prepared by the chefs of the house. Later, they went to the terrace of the Ecuestre to blow out the candles on an imposing cake in the shape of a number 25 and celebrate the committee with a few drinks.
The celebration of the twenty-fifth anniversary of the CNI was an excellent opportunity to meet and pay homage to the most youthful body of the Círculo Ecuestre, in which the members and former members shared their common history in an unbeatable atmosphere and thanked the initiative of Don Carlos Güell de Sentmenat, president of the club that promoted the constitution of the CNI.
