It was founded in 1919 in memory of the 12,000 Scottish soldiers who lost their lives in the First World War. The club is located in the heart of Edinburgh very close to Princess Street.
It has a cozy bar, restaurant and rooms for banquets, conferences, libraries, a tea room, a very large gym with a large number of fitness machines. It also has 25 very well equipped rooms. It has a NEWS COTTAGE for six people with everything you need for your stay: 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, living room, garage... which can be rented for days or weeks.
Smart casual clothing is accepted during breakfast. In the dining room from Monday to Friday at noon a jacket and tie are required. Casual wear on weekends. In the evenings smart casual wear and in the evenings from Monday to Thursday jacket and tie.
