The Tasmanian Club was founded in 1861, following the tradition of British clubs. It is located in a spectacular Georgian-style building. The Tasmanian Club is considered to be the "senior gentlemen's club" in Tasmania and has a maximum limit of 400 members. Among its advantages are the restaurants for small or large groups and the central location in the city of Hobart. It has accommodation for members of correspondence clubs, parking and even has a room reserved for them.
It has a restaurant, meeting rooms, recreation rooms and event rooms.
The required dress code is smart casual for all its spaces, with the exception of the restaurant (jacket and tie).
