Founded in 1836, it is located in a building of great architectural beauty, designed by Sir Charles Barry in 1841. Established as a club to house the most liberal ideas derived from the Reform Act of 1832, this club has become a cultural benchmark and politician on the British scene, which has had such illustrious members as H. G. Wells, Henry James and Winston Churchill.

It has a restaurant, business center, library and event rooms.

The required dress code is smart casual for all its spaces, the use of a jacket is mandatory.

The Equestrian Circle Card is required for access.
