The Hong Kong Club was established in 1846. Its members included government officials and the heads of major trading companies, and it was referred to simply as "The Club."
It is located on five floors of an emblematic building located very close to the commercial and financial center of the city. It has several rooms with different capacities, up to 500 people, bar, restaurant, reading room, card room, hairdresser, gym, squash, bowling, billiards.
The dress varies according to the place.
There are some restrictions for members of correspondence clubs.
