The Círculo Logroñés has its origins in the 1940s, and today it is one of the few centenary entities in the city. It has 470 members, among which there are Owner Members and Assigning Members.
Throughout its history, important personalities from La Rioja have been partners.
At the beginning of its foundation it was located in the Plaza Mayor of Logroño and then moved to the Plaza del Mercado and ended up in the current location on Duquesa de la Victoria street, after purchasing the land that constituted the main entrance to the Frontón Beti-Jai.
The building is the work of the architect Augusto Cadarso García Jalón and was inaugurated in December 1916. Its style is very grand, with a strong eclectic academicism both inside and outside and with a great profusion of plaster moldings with motifs. florals, borders and mirrors.
The nature of this society is initially recreational and cultural. It has several rooms where its Members can sit quietly and chat over a drink, to others where they can enjoy splendid concerts, to rooms where meetings, exhibitions, and gatherings are held.
In addition, according to new trends, it has a Gastronomic Society so that Members can enjoy good company seasoned with fantastic foods and splendid wines.
To this day, events of all kinds continue to be held where Logroño society finds a suitable space with a fantastic setting in the heart of Logroño.
