Círculo emerged in 1992 within a group of businessmen, led by Salvador Fernández Troncoso, who devised the creation of the Vigo Financial Club with two initial objectives: to offer companies certain services (restaurants, function and meeting rooms, leisure) and At the same time, foster inter-company relationships. The project is definitively consolidated with the inauguration of its headquarters, located in one of the main avenues of the city of Vigo.
At first, the project was limited to the southern area of Galicia; however, the success of the initiative and the conviction that there are no borders in Galicia and that the interests of the four provinces are common motivated the change of the company name. Became the Círculo de Empresarios de Galicia.
Today, the Círculo de Empresarios de Galicia offers its associates more than 5,000 m2 of facilities divided into three large areas: a business area, a large restaurant and a space for leisure and rest. The clubhouse is conceived as a meeting and participation space, constituting a place of reference for other social agents as well.
The club carries out intense activity in the area of the peninsular northwest (Galicia and northern Portugal), promoting various activities (conferences, round tables, colloquiums, etc.) on current affairs and economic-business interest and hosting, on the other hand, On the other hand, activities organized in its facilities by the companies associated with the club, which find in this center the appropriate infrastructure and services.
It has several rooms for business meetings or meetings between partners; assembly hall with a capacity of 190 seats with simultaneous translation and facilities for videoconferences; training room and computer room; meeting rooms and various offices; a restaurant with a very complete and varied menu in which the excellent specialties of Galician cuisine stand out, together with several private dining rooms; gym with the most modern equipment, heated pool, squash court, golf practice room, hairdresser and parking for 40 vehicles.
