The Detroit Athletic Club, often referred to as the DAC, is a private athletic social club located in the heart of Detroit's theater, sports and entertainment district. It is located across from the historic Music Hall. The clubhouse was designed by Albert Kahn and inspired by the Palazzo Farnese in Rome.
It maintains reciprocal agreements for its members in other private clubs around the world. It contains exclusive full-service sports facilities, swimming pools, restaurants, ballrooms and rooms.
It has spaces for the member, such as a restaurant, cafeterias, lounges, a business center, sports spaces, event rooms and recreation rooms.
The required dress code is smart casual for all its spaces, optional use of a tie.
