Founded in 1873, originally as the Malt Club, it was created with the aim of creating a space for debate and presentation of projects for the community, politics and business.
It took the name of Westmorland Club in 1889, and in 1922 it acquired the spectacular Georgian building that it occupies today.
It has become the reference club of the State of Pennsylvania, and is the political and social center of the region.
It has spaces for the member, such as a restaurant, cafeterias, lounges, a business center, sports spaces, event rooms and recreation rooms.
The required dress code is a jacket and tie for all spaces, optional use of a tie.
