The Cosmos club was founded in 1878 by a group of distinguished people in science, literature and art. A large number of politicians, judges, Nobel laureates and Pulitzer laureates have belonged to the club. Today its members are still outstanding characters in the wide range of culture.
Since 1952 the club is located at 212 Massachusetts Av. in an elegant building of great prestige. The club enjoys seals of recognition such as Platinum Club of America and Distinguished Club Emerald of the world.
It has an important wine cellar, several rooms for all kinds of activities, a bookstore, a reading room, banquets, meetings, billiards, a games room, computers, a bar, a restaurant, as well as several well-equipped rooms of different sizes.
