The Domino Club private association based in Bologna aims to provide Members with the opportunity for a pleasant meeting, as well as to establish and maintain, for cultural purposes, a reading cabinet, to the exclusion of any political character and purpose.
Among the services offered to its Members: Library, Bar, Restaurant, Box in the Municipal Theater, Guest House.
Founded in 1725 first as "La Società del Casino dei Nobili". In 1866 they acquire the current name. The Club prides itself on following its traditional roots and being a place where friends, who share the same upbringing and moral rectitude, congregate to spend time together. Several families that were part of the Club in 1700 are still represented today.
They have a rich program of activities focused on good food, listening to music at the Club and at the Teatro Comunale, where they have a box for the Opera season, cultural trips in Italy and abroad, cultural talks, car/ vintage motorcycles. and a series of sports activities (sailing, shooting, golf, bridge, etc.).
The Club House is a three-story building located in the heart of old Bologna where members can organize private events.
The Club has a reading room, a smoking room, a bar room, a card room, a billiards room, a dining room for members only, a dining room for members with guests and a patio. Its chef is known for his ability to serve Bologna's most outstanding culinary specialty, the traditional tortellini.
Agreement with the Bed & Breakfast Antica Casa Zucchini, it can be booked through its Secretariat at a preferential rate. These rooms are within walking distance of the Club.
They offer Reciprocal Clubs the ability for their Members to use Domino Club while in town and bring guests.
Domino Club etiquette is formal.
