Círculo Ecuestre and Zurich have signed a collaboration agreement whereby the insurer, with more than 140 years of presence in Spain and recognized as the number one company for solvency in the country, joins as a new strategic partner in wealth protection for Círculo Ecuestre.
Within the framework of this alliance, both entities will promote initiatives aimed at sharing knowledge and creating new meeting spaces between club members, professionals, and representatives of the business community. Planned actions include holding conferences on areas linked to Zurich's expertise, such as wealth protection, risk management, family business, cybersecurity, and financial planning.

Enrique Lacalle, President of Círculo Ecuestre: “We welcome Zurich to Círculo Ecuestre and thank them for the trust placed in our institution. Its incorporation as a strategic partner represents an especially valuable alliance due to its expertise, international vision, and knowledge in such a key area as wealth protection. We are convinced that this collaboration will bring highly interesting content and new perspectives to our members, while reinforcing Círculo Ecuestre's ability to continue being a meeting point for knowledge and business relations.”
Vicente Cancio, CEO of Grupo Zurich in Spain: “For Zurich, it is a source of pride to join as a strategic partner of Círculo Ecuestre, an iconic institution vital to the economic, business, and social life of Barcelona. We share its dedication to fostering dialogue, exchanging knowledge, and building links between business and society. The event also featured the participation of Martín Navaz, Treasurer of the Círculo Ecuestre and President of PIB Spain, whose presence underscored the significance of a collaboration connecting prominent leaders from the business and insurance sectors.
With this agreement, Círculo Ecuestre continues to expand its network of alliances with leading companies and reinforces its role as a meeting, knowledge, and networking space for civil society and the business ecosystem of Barcelona. Furthermore, the collaboration with Zurich is formalized in an especially significant year for the institution, which celebrates its 170th anniversary.
