The Círculo Ecuestre organized a colloquium this Wednesday featuring Eduardo Inda, journalist and director of Okdiario. The president of the Círculo Ecuestre, Enrique Lacalle, presented the event, while Ricardo Fernández Deu, member of the Board of Governors of the Círculo Ecuestre, served as the moderator.

Throughout the event, Inda provided an exhaustive review of the most pressing issues in current Spanish politics, such as immigration, the situation in Catalonia, judicial processes involving politicians, and the outlook for the 2027 elections. Furthermore, he emphasized that the role of journalism and the press is to be the counter-power to the various governments.

Regarding the situation in Catalonia, the director of Okdiario assured that it is now possible to travel more peacefully through Catalonia. In this sense, Inda stated that this new stage has been reached through the enforcement of the law. "It is the merit of the Supreme Court judges, who delivered justice, not Illa's," he highlighted.

During the colloquium, Inda also commented on the current state of immigration, stating it is “the great debate of the future.” In this regard, the journalist reminded the audience that in many European states, parties advocating for its limitation are winning, such as in France, the United Kingdom, Italy, or Hungary.

Finally, the director of Okdiario considered that Spain “means nothing” on an international level and is insignificant in major decisions. Additionally, he asserted that, in his opinion, "Trump is not going to be happy with Sánchez and that will be felt economically"; he also added that Israel will not forgive him for "having allied himself with its enemies."
