The Círculo Ecuestre has formed its new governing board following the election of Enrique Lacalle as President of the entity.
The renowned businessman with a long professional career with a marked vocation of service to the city of Barcelona has set up a board made up of four Vice Presidents: Juan Ignacio Marull, Vice President of the Economy area; Antonio Gámiz, Vice President of the Social Area; Luis Conde, Vice President of the Institutional Area, and Eva Moll, Vice President of the Culture Area.
The board, which also doubles the number of women compared to the previous government, going from three to six, also has a secretary: Ignacio Garmendia; a vice secretary: Íñigo de Ros, and a treasurer: Martín Navaz.
Prominent figures from the economic and business sector
The governing body is also made up of 23 members, including prominent names from the economic and business sector of Barcelona: Luis Badrinas, Jordi Casas, José Maria Cardellach, Carlos Durán, Isabel Estany, Ricardo Fernández-Deu, Guillermo Galofré, Julia García -Valdecasas, Anna Gener, Tirso Gracia, Pere Guardiola, Paco Guarner, Alejandro Hernández-Puértolas, Sergio Martínez, Alberto Missé, Juan Maria Nin, Silvia Parés, Dani Puig, Aurora Sanz, Luis Sans, Miguel Tarazón, Carlos Tusquets and David Galán, who remains the club's general director.
With the configuration of the new Governing Board, the Círculo Ecuestre begins a new stage marked by a roadmap configured by six main lines of action: the reinforcement of networking activities, the will to rejuvenate the club, the enhancement of weight of the entity in the economic and business sphere, the increase in the presence and influence of the club at the state level, the consolidation of the Círculo Ecuestre as a dynamic element of the culture and art of Barcelona and the improvement of the club's facilities.
