Círculo Ecuestre, together with the Foro de Abogados (Lawyers’ Forum), hosted the presentation of the book Inocencia Robada: El Precio del Poder (Stolen Innocence: The Price of Power), written by private investigator Julián Peribáñez, in an event held on Thursday, 26 March at the club’s headquarters.

The session featured José Mª Cardellach, member of the Executive Committee of Círculo Ecuestre, who introduced the event, and was moderated by criminal lawyer Eloi Castellarnau. The event brought together members and attendees interested in a work addressing issues of particular social sensitivity.



Julián Peribáñez is a Spanish private investigator and writer whose career has focused on cases related to sensitive areas such as child protection and abuse of power. Throughout his career, he has worked on complex investigations that have provided him with first-hand insight into delicate situations, offering a rigorous and committed perspective. His profile combines investigative work with public outreach, with the aim of giving visibility to often overlooked issues and contributing to greater social awareness.

During the presentation, the author shared the key aspects of his book, offering an investigative approach to situations of vulnerability, focusing on the consequences of abuse of power and the lack of protection, particularly in relation to minors.



Throughout the event, Peribáñez underlined the importance of fostering spaces for reflection and debate on these matters. His remarks highlighted the need to continue advancing protection and awareness mechanisms, reinforcing the role of society in safeguarding vulnerable groups.
