The Munich Gentlemen's Club is an association of leading figures from business, politics, society, and culture.
A diverse program of lectures and events provides space and opportunity for information and discussion. The club's premises and numerous activities foster friendly interaction among its members.
Since 2015, the club rooms of the Munich Gentlemen's Club have been located in the prestigious Brienner Quarter, within the venerable Luitpoldblock in the heart of the Bavarian capital.
The Luitpoldblock was built in 1812 in the Neoclassical style by Privy Councilor Joseph von Utzschneider, who served as Munich's second mayor from 1818 to 1821. Its layout remains virtually unchanged to this day. The "Utzschneider Real Estate" was the first building constructed outside the city walls, housing numerous businesses even then, including Munich's largest brewery at the time, complete with its own brewhouse and beer garden. Later additions included Fraunhofer's Optical Institute, the Liebherr and Werner mechanical workshops, a tobacco factory, a stained-glass painting school, and numerous other shops. The Luitpoldblock remains famous today primarily for the former Palace Café, now Café Luitpold, one of the world's most renowned coffee houses.
The prestigious club rooms of the Munich gentlemen's club are located on the first floor of the Luitpoldblock directly on Brienner Straße.
