INTERNAL RULES
OPENING HOURS
- The club will be open every day of the year, 24 hours.
DRESS CODE
- Members of the Círculo should always be appropriately dressed.
- Gentlemen are expected to wear a jacket and tie in the clubhouse, except
in the sports facilities, which they must enter directly by use of the passenger
elevator.
- There is a degree of tolerance in the use of ties on Friday nights and
at weekends.
- Ladies are expected to wear the appropriate equivalent. Jeans and t-shirts
are not allowed.
- Members are responsible for ensuring that their guests are aware of the
dress standards.
- The use of personal items with emblems of the Círculo, such as ties,
cufflinks, foulards, pins, etc. is reserved for members.
- Hall porters are responsible for ensuring that this code is strictly complied
with.
PAYMENT OF SERVICES
- Members can pay for all services by cash or on account. For items to be
put on account, members must sign all bills and receipts.
INVITATIONS
- Members should enter in the Register Book in the lodge the names of their
guests and be responsible of their behaviour.
- The number of guests per member will be conditional on the capacities of
the Círculo at any given moment. That information will be available
from the secretariat.
- The Board of Directors can invite any personality it considers appropriate
to use the facilities of the Círculo.
- Entry to the Círculo is forbidden to people under 14 years of age,
except for acts that take place in private rooms.
- Spouses of members can use the dining room of the Círculo and common rooms.
- Guests cannot remain in the Círculo if they are not with the member who
invited them.
USE OF THE FACILITIES OF THE CÍRCULO
- The Círculo Ecuestre offers exclusively to its members the facilities
to organise events, ceremonies, meetings, etc. Those events, unless against
the Statutes of the Círculo, can be of any kind, professional, social,
familiar, etc.
- The Círculo Ecuestre can organise breakfasts, lunches, dinners,
tea parties, cocktails, weddings, dances, corporate meetings, conferences,
concerts, exhibitions and other similar events.
- The member who organises the event should be present, without the possibility
of being represented.
ORGANISATION AND RESERVATIONS OF EVENTS
- In the case of events organised by individual Members, the member should
be present at the event being held.
- The Card of Company Member, when not used by one of the Titular members,
will only allow the use of private dining rooms, workrooms and the auditorium.
The dinning room and bar of the Círculo, the rooms of the ground floor, first
floor and the fitness centre can only be used by Titular Members
- Reservations shall only be done on behalf of an individual Member or company
Member.
- Reservations shall be made in the secretariat in accordance with the tariffs
in force.
- Rooms can be used, without any charge, to hold meetings less than 2 hours
in length, provided that they are available and subject to consultation with
the secretariat.
- Reservations of more than 12 people shall be in writing and the agreement
to the budget shall be signed.
- In the case of acts with less than 12 people, room and waiters expenses
will be invoiced separately.
- It is possible to change the number of guests up to 48 hours before the
celebration of the organised event.
- For every event organised, 50% of the amount of the budget shall be paid
as deposit in advance.
- In the case of a cancellation, this deposit will be retained by the Círculo.
If the cancellation is made 15 days before the date expected, if there have
not been any organisational expenses and the room is available, all or part
of the deposit may be returned.
- Unless there is prior agreement, bills for events shall be paid at the
end of the event.
- Bills must be issued to the members who have organised the act, and can
be sent to others under responsibility of the organising member.
RECIPROCAL CLUBS
- Members of reciprocal clubs of the Círculo Ecuestre have the same
privileges as our members, with a limit of 20 days per year. They shall present
themselves at the secretariat with a letter of presentation from their club
of origin or their membership card in order; and they will be given a corresponding
membership card.
- Reciprocal Members who are interested in extending the limit of 20 days
shall request it in writing and the Círculo can extend it, on payment
of a fixed monthly fee.
- Reciprocal members shall pay all bills by cash.
- We recommend members who wish to visit a reciprocal club to be previously
informed about the conditions in force at those clubs by the secretariat of
the Círculo.

CODE OF CONDUCT

use of the passenger elevator.
- Ladies are expected to wear the appropriate equivalent.
- The use of the fitness centre is reserved for members.
- At lunch time, members can only reserve one table in the general dining
room. For a larger number of guests, they shall request it in the secretariat.
- In the dining room of the Círculo there is a table reserved exclusively
for members, which no guest can use.
HOURS OF OPERATION
- Bar service will be open Monday through Saturday, 9:00 am to 1:00 am.
- Breakfast service will be open Monday though Saturday, 8:00 pm to 11:00
pm.
- Kitchen service will be open Monday through Saturday, 1:30 pm to 4:00 pm
and 9:00 pm to 11:00pm.
- The Secretariat of the Círculo will be open Monday through Friday,
9:00 a.m. to 2:00 pm and from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m
- The fitness centre will be open Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 10:00
pm and Saturday, 9:00 am to 7:00 pm
- For these hours of operation, holidays will be equivalent to Sundays.
