Welcome to the Círculo Ecuestre.
In all developed countries there is a tradition, characteristic of Western civilisation: that of private clubs, exclusive associations to which the more outstanding and influential figures of society usually belong.
Since it was founded in 1856, the Círculo Ecuestre has represented this spirit in Catalonia. It has become a key institution in the professional and personal life of the people of Barcelona and one of the private clubs of greatest renown in Europe.
Catalan civil society has needed places where its dynamism was soothed by exclusive treatment and facilities.
It has been Barcelona, essentially, which has accommodated those spaces where people with shared interests have found a common space to cultivate their hobbies: a private business club, exclusive and cosmopolitan, where leisure and business, excellent cuisine and exercise are perfectly combined.
Furthermore the institution, as a fundamental institution of Catalan civil society, aims to become a useful tool in the service of the country’s businesses.
